Security Operations Analyst

Job Summary

To support a growing security operations team, the full-time remote Security Operations Analyst will review and respond to security events, investigate root causes, and mentor junior analysts while ensuring high-quality monitoring and incident-handling processes.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to and investigate security events such as phishing and malware detections across the organization
• Mentor junior analysts and assist in the onboarding of new team members
• Document and develop procedures for handling security escalations and investigations

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in a security operations center or similar role
• Hands-on experience with security tools such as SIEM, EDR, and IDS/IPS
• Strong knowledge of security principles and best practices
• Demonstrable analytical and problem-solving skills
