Security Operations Analyst
Job Summary
Joining a mission-driven team, the full-time remote Security Operations Analyst will triage, investigate, respond to, and remediate various cyber intrusions, enhancing their analyst skills while contributing to the protection of businesses worldwide.
Key responsibilities:
- Triage and investigate alerts from the Huntress platform
- Perform tactical reviews of EDR telemetry and forensic artifacts to determine root causes of attacks and provide necessary remediations
- Contribute to detection engineering and projects aimed at improving outcomes for analysts and partners
Required qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in a SOC or Digital Forensics (DFIR) role
- Demonstrated experience with Windows, Linux, and MacOS as attack surfaces
- Familiarity with basic Threat Actor tools and techniques, including the MITRE ATT&CK Framework
- Working knowledge of core networking concepts and web technologies
- Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
