Security Operations Analyst

Job Summary

As an analytical and thorough individual contributor, the full-time remote Security Operations Analyst will manage threat detection and response, technical security architecture, and SIEM and SOAR engineering to protect critical assets against evolving threats.

Key responsibilities

• Actively monitor SIEM and other security tools to detect and triage security alerts following established playbooks
• Utilize SOAR platforms to automate alert handling and improve process efficiency
• Integrate log sources into SIEM tools and create monitoring solutions based on active threat intelligence

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Security Operations, with at least 2 years in a SOC or incident response role
• Proven hands-on experience in threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management
• Strong understanding of modern security threats and defensive strategies
• Expertise in security frameworks such as NIST and MITRE ATT&CK
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field; Master's degree is a plus
