Security Operations Analyst

Job Summary

Monitoring and validating security alerts, the full-time Security Operations Analyst will perform initial investigations, enrich alerts with contextual data, and initiate containment actions while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, triage, and validate security alerts across the security ecosystem
• Conduct initial investigations and collect evidence to support incident response efforts
• Provide structured feedback to improve detection capabilities and reduce false positives

Required qualifications

• Three years of experience in security operations technology or one year focused on SOC, SIEM, EDR, identity management, network security, or cloud security
• Associate degree in cybersecurity or information systems (desired)
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security +, CySA+, Microsoft SC-900, or SC-200 (desired)
