Security Operations Analyst

Job Summary

Focusing on threat detection and incident response, the full-time Security Operations Analyst II will review alert data, lead investigations into malicious activities, and create detailed incident reports while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead investigations involving evidence collection, analysis, and identification of malicious activities
• Create detailed incident reports documenting technical analysis and recommended remediation steps
• Conduct threat hunting activities to proactively uncover unknown threats

Required qualifications

• Familiarity with Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems
• Hands-on experience using SIEM tools, such as Rapid7 command platform or Splunk
• Experience in core Security Operations Center functions, including incident response and forensic investigations
• Strong problem-solving ability and critical thinking skills
• Demonstrated accountability in incident analyses and remediation tracking
