Security Operations Analyst II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Security Operations Analyst II.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and investigate alerts from various security tools and perform initial triage
• Conduct threat hunting activities and maintain documentation of alerts and investigations
• Coordinate incident response and develop security operations use cases to improve alert quality

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent work experience
• 3 years of experience in security operations, threat detection, or incident response
• Hands-on experience with EDR, SIEM, and other security monitoring tools
• Understanding of incident lifecycle and NIST 800-53 standards
• Working knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK framework
