Security Operations Buyer Interview

Job Summary

To support a research study on purchasing workflows, remote participants will engage in a contract-based interview focused on their recent experiences with evaluating and procuring SIEM or SecOps tools for mid-market organizations.

Key responsibilities

• Walk through the end-to-end process for evaluating security software
• Detail the specific steps and stakeholders involved in a recent SIEM or SecOps purchase
• Provide feedback on successful vendor evaluation criteria based on personal experiences

Required qualifications

• Current professional experience in IT security, SecOps, or network infrastructure
• Direct experience evaluating and purchasing SIEM or SecOps tools
• Familiarity with mid-market enterprise procurement cycles
• Hands-on experience guiding a software evaluation cycle from research to contract
• Comfortable discussing detailed software evaluation workflows
