Security Operations Center Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and utilize the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) system to monitor security events and respond appropriately
• Plan and implement network and endpoint security measures to protect data and hardware
• Research external intelligence sources to enhance detection of security events and participate in security-related projects

Required Qualifications

• High School (or GED) level education
• 1-3 years of experience in IT security, IT, or a related role
• Knowledge of information security concepts and network protocols
• Familiarity with common information security challenges and attack patterns
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
