Security Operations Center Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Security Operations Center (SOC) Manager to lead their internal SOC.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and scale the core Security Operations Center, defining functional requirements for SOC capabilities
• Lead the Threat Intelligence function and integrate various intelligence feeds into the SIEM/SOAR for proactive threat hunting
• Act as the primary lead for incident response actions and oversee internal penetration testing and "Purple Team" exercises

Required Qualifications

• Experience in a tech startup environment (Series B/C+) with a focus on building scalable systems
• Hands-on expertise in SASE/SSE platforms such as Netskope or Zscaler
• Expert-level experience securing cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Proficiency in modern SIEM/XDR solutions and offensive tooling frameworks
• Strong programming skills in Python or Go and proficiency in SQL for data querying
