Security Operations Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Security Operations Engineer to enhance their security operations and incident response capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Security Operations Center to monitor and respond to cybersecurity threats
• Develop and maintain knowledge of the threat landscape and enhance threat detection capabilities
• Execute and improve incident response protocols and automate security processes

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 2 years in security operations
• Experience in incident response and developing incident response playbooks
• Proficient in using JIRA or similar tools for managing reports and automating workflows
• Strong knowledge of operating and configuring SIEM tools for real-time threat monitoring
• Experience investigating security events across various operating systems and cloud environments
