Security Operations Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Security Operations Engineer to bridge the gap between Security and Engineering while implementing a modern detection and response program.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and configure a new SIEM solution and manage the security observability platform
• Develop incident response documentation and lead incident coordination and threat hunting investigations
• Continuously evaluate alerts and optimize logging standards and security telemetry

Required Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in Information Security or Security Operations
• Experience with SIEM/observability platforms and writing complex queries
• Background in working with Managed Detection and Response (MDR) providers
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Industry certifications such as GCIH, GCIA, or Security+ are desirable
