Security Operations Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Security Operations Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and administer security technologies to enhance prevention, detection, response, and recovery capabilities
• Monitor security logs and alerts, analyze anomalous activity, and respond to incidents as per established procedures
• Maintain and update incident response playbooks, track operational security metrics, and support security audits

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related field (preferred)
• Security+, Network+, or equivalent certification (required)
• 3-7 years of experience in security operations, incident response, or related fields
• Experience with SaaS or cloud-native security technologies and platforms
• Strong understanding of security operations and incident response methodologies
