Security Operations Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Security Operations Engineer to manage day-to-day security operations in a cloud-first environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of security operational work, including triage, prioritization, and verification
• Manage cloud and application security findings through remediation and coordinate with engineering teams
• Produce and maintain security artifacts required for audits and compliance operations

Required Qualifications

• 3-6 years of experience in security operations, cloud operations, or related roles
• Strong experience with security tooling such as CSPM, SIEM, and endpoint protection
• Hands-on familiarity with cloud environments (AWS and/or Azure)
• Experience managing work through ticketing systems like Jira
• Strong understanding of operational security concepts, including vulnerability management and logging
