Security Operations Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a detail-oriented Security Operations Engineer for a full-time remote position, responsible for monitoring security alerts, triaging potential threats, and collaborating with senior engineers to safeguard organizational data.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and respond to phishing incidents, including email reviews and remediation actions
• Monitor Data Loss Prevention (DLP) systems for unauthorized data movement and investigate incidents involving sensitive information
• Investigate Account Takeover (ATO) alerts and manage user activity verification and password resets

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience/certifications
• Foundational understanding of the TCP/IP stack and common protocols (HTTP, DNS)
• Familiarity with macOS and Linux operating systems
• Ability to correlate data points to identify malicious behavior patterns
• Eagerness to learn and stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats and techniques
