Security Operations Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance operational efficiency, the full-time remote Principal Security Operations and Enablement Engineer will own the technical strategy for security operations, translating requirements into scalable solutions, and building automation and reporting tools to improve detection and response capabilities.

Key responsibilities:

• Own and evolve the SO&E technical strategy to address operational gaps in the core platform
• Translate operational pain points into scoped, buildable solutions in collaboration with SOC and Support Operations Managers
• Build and maintain reporting and dashboard infrastructure for meaningful visibility into security performance and workflow health

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in building workflow automations, internal tooling, or operational infrastructure, preferably in security
• Proficiency in Python or similar scripting languages for writing clean, maintainable code
• Experience with API integrations to connect disparate tools and systems
• Familiarity with security operations tooling, including SIEMs and ticketing systems
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment while setting technical direction
