Security Operations Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time remote Security Operations Engineer, the successful candidate will engineer and automate security capabilities within a distributed security operations environment, focusing on optimizing security tooling such as endpoint security and data loss prevention.

Key responsibilities:

• Engineer and maintain security operations platforms, including building detection rules and automated playbooks
• Apply a detections-as-code approach, ensuring version control and quality metrics
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security controls into business processes

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in a security engineering or operations role
• Experience with security information and event management, endpoint detection and response, and network detection and response
• Proficiency in scripting and automation languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash
• Proficient in spoken and written English
