Security Operations Engineer

Job Summary

As a remote full-time Security Operations Engineer, the candidate will monitor security events, lead incident response efforts, and conduct digital forensic investigations while collaborating with a global team of engineers and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security events and provide technical analysis on alerts
• Lead information security incidents and employee investigations, developing and executing incident response strategies
• Deliver clear security guidance for incident response and insider threat initiatives

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Security Incident Response
• Proficiency in Python and ability to build scripts or tools for investigation processes
• Practical experience leading security incident response, including monitoring and triaging alerts
• Understanding of analysis and forensics techniques on macOS, Windows, and Linux
• Experience utilizing SIEM tools for log reviews
