Security Operations Engineer

Job Summary

Providing technical and operational support for managed detection and response (MDR) customers, the full-time Security Operations Engineer will assist with incident follow-up, technical troubleshooting, and compliance reviews while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and investigate MDR alerts, supporting incident validation and remediation activities
• Support the deployment and administration of Sophos MDR technologies and troubleshoot technical issues
• Assist with Cyber Hygiene assessments and provide security advisory support to improve customer environments

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in security operations, cybersecurity engineering, or incident response
• Preferred certifications such as Security+, CySA+, or similar
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365, endpoint security, and security investigation methodologies
• Professional proficiency in Spanish is a plus
