Security Operations Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Security Operations Engineer, the full-time hybrid position will operate, tune, and improve key security tools across endpoint and cloud security, while collaborating closely with DevOps and infrastructure teams to enhance security operations.

Key responsibilities:

• Operate, maintain, and tune security platforms such as CrowdStrike, AWS GuardDuty, and Cloudflare WAF
• Review security findings, validate severity, and support incident response activities including triage and investigation
• Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to implement remediations and improve security visibility

Required qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in security operations, cloud security, or related security engineering roles
• Hands-on experience with endpoint security tools like CrowdStrike Falcon
• Experience with AWS security services, particularly GuardDuty, and familiarity with cloud logging
• Strong fundamentals in incident response, including triage and documentation
• Ability to read and interpret logs from various security sources
