Security Operations Engineer

Job Summary

As a key technical executor in the Security Operations function, the full-time remote Security Operations Engineer will manage security project coordination, lead the design and implementation of SIEM capabilities, and leverage AI tools to enhance incident detection and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary internal technical lead for third-party security assessments and vulnerability testing
• Lead the design and ongoing management of the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) capability
• Utilize modern AI tools and automation frameworks to streamline incident detection and operational tasks

Required Qualifications:

• 6-8 years of experience in Systems Administration, Systems Engineering, or IT Operations with a focus on security operations
• Proven experience configuring SIEM platforms and managing log aggregation
• Hands-on experience with automation scripts and AI-driven capabilities for security operations
• Deep technical knowledge of securing cloud environments and enterprise SaaS ecosystems
• Exceptional documentation skills and the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical teams
