Security Operations Engineer

Job Summary

As a full-time remote Security Operations Engineer, the successful candidate will manage the detection, response, and hardening initiatives to protect a fast-paced fintech environment, collaborating closely with various security and engineering teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Build and tune detections, alerts, and monitoring workflows across various environments
• Investigate security events end-to-end, including triage, scoping, and remediation support
• Operate OnePay's vulnerability management program, including triaging and prioritizing findings

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in information security, threat detection, or incident response
• Strong Python programming skills for automation and security operations tooling
• Experience building and tuning detections in a SIEM or similar platform
• Familiarity with cloud security findings from platforms like Wiz
• Working knowledge of identity and access systems and modern authentication flows
