Security Operations Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team of engineers, the full-time remote Security Operations Manager will oversee the detection, investigation, and response to security events while managing vendor relationships and collaborating with multiple departments to enhance data protection.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coach a team focused on security operations, including detection design and incident response
• Develop and maintain relationships with security operations vendors to improve security measures
• Collaborate with Security, Engineering, IT, Compliance, and Privacy teams to protect patient and provider data

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in security operations, detection engineering, or related roles
• 2+ years of direct management experience in security teams
• Hands-on proficiency with SIEM and SOAR tools
• Expertise in incident response processes and improvements
• Knowledge of cloud security telemetry and common attacker behaviors
