Security Operations Manager

Job Summary

Managing day-to-day cybersecurity operations, the full-time remote Security Operations Manager will oversee security monitoring, incident response coordination, and identity management processes while collaborating closely with various teams to ensure operational security readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily security operations activities, including alert review and escalation coordination
• Coordinate incident response efforts, including documentation and remediation follow-up
• Administer security tools and support identity and access management processes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, information systems, computer science, or a related field preferred
• 5 to 8 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security, with hands-on operational security work
• Experience in supporting security operations, incident response, and vulnerability management
• Familiarity with Microsoft security tools and audit support processes
• Relevant certifications such as Security+, CISSP, GSEC, or GIAC preferred
