Security Operations Manager
Job Summary
Leading the 24/7 Security Operations Center (SOC), the full-time remote Security Operations Manager will shape security strategy, drive AI-powered threat detection and response, and mentor SOC analysts in a SOX-regulated, SOC 2 Type 2 certified environment.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee daily SOC operations across cloud and on-prem environments
- Act as Incident Commander for major security incidents
- Enhance threat detection initiatives and optimize security platforms
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 8+ years of experience in security operations, incident response, or threat detection
- 3+ years of experience leading a SOC or Security Operations team
- Deep expertise with SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, and incident response
- Experience in SOX and SOC 2 Type 2 environments
