Security Operations Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled Security Operations Manager, the fully remote position will manage cybersecurity support services for the Department of State, ensuring compliance with federal mandates while overseeing security operations, incident response, and threat detection activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and operate Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) processes for Oracle systems, including configuration and monitoring of security events
• Conduct Open-Source Intelligence Threat (OSINT) monitoring for Oracle-specific threats and provide weekly threat intelligence summaries
• Perform digital forensics and log analysis, investigating security anomalies and supporting incident response activities as directed by the ISSO

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, cybersecurity, or a related field
• 8 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity
• Active CISSP, GCIA, or equivalent certification required
• Current Secret clearance is mandatory
• Experience working with the Department of State is preferred
