Security Platform Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a remote contract Security Platform Engineer, the ideal candidate will manage the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise-scale SIEM and log management platforms, with a strong focus on Splunk and Cribl.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Splunk Enterprise and Splunk Enterprise Security environments
- Deploy, configure, and manage Cribl Stream for log routing and optimization
- Develop automation workflows using SOAR platforms and integrate various security tools
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Splunk Enterprise and Splunk Enterprise Security
- Strong experience with Cribl Stream administration and pipeline development
- Proficient in log onboarding, parsing, and normalization
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and scripting in Python, PowerShell, or Bash
- Knowledge of Linux administration and troubleshooting
