Security Project Manager

Job Summary

To lead a complex cybersecurity transformation initiative, the contract Security Project Manager will manage project delivery, coordinate activities across various cybersecurity teams, and ensure alignment across multiple workstreams while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a complex cybersecurity transformation project involving the replacement of an existing SOC provider
• Coordinate activities across Cyber Defense, Threat Operations, Incident Response, and Security Engineering teams
• Track project deliverables, milestones, risks, and dependencies while maintaining ongoing SOC operations

Required qualifications

• 5-7 years of Project Management experience in cybersecurity or technology programs
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity operations and Security Operations Centers (SOC)
• Experience using Jira and Confluence in enterprise environments
• Familiarity with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms and security monitoring tools
• Experience managing large initiatives with multiple concurrent workstreams
