Security Researcher III

Job Summary

To support research initiatives, the remote full-time Security Researcher III will locate and recapture data from Phishing-as-a-Service kits, apply data science techniques for data quality analysis, and engage in human intelligence activities to disrupt cybercrime.

Key responsibilities

• Locate and target data from Phishing-as-a-Service kits using human intelligence and platform sourcing
• Analyze sourced data quality to refine the data sourcing pipeline
• Engage in human intelligence techniques to support data recapture efforts and draft analytical products

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a cybersecurity researcher, analyst, or similar role
• Working knowledge of modern Phishing-as-a-Service kits and techniques
• Experience with human intelligence techniques including persona management and threat actor engagement
• Familiarity with the criminal underground and accessing data from the deep and dark web
• A passion for preventing cybercrime and a collaborative team-oriented mindset
