Security Researcher III (Phishing)

Job Summary

Seeking a self-driven Security Researcher III (Phishing) for a remote, full-time position, this role will manage data collection and analysis efforts related to Phishing-as-a-Service (PhaaS), utilizing human intelligence techniques and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support SpyCloud's intelligence initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Locate and recapture data from PhaaS kits using human intelligence and platform sourcing
• Analyze data quality to refine the PhaaS data sourcing pipeline
• Engage in security research and draft analytical products to support business objectives

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity research or analysis
• Knowledge of modern PhaaS kits and techniques, including AiTM and Device Code phishing
• Experience with human intelligence techniques such as persona management and threat actor engagement
• Understanding of the criminal underground and data access through the deep and dark net
• Proven ability to work effectively in a remote team environment
