Security Risk & Compliance Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a highly motivated Staff Security Risk & Compliance Program Manager - Access Management, the full-time remote role will manage Confluent's internal access management program, focusing on service-to-service authentication, non-human identity governance, and access controls for AI agents to enhance security posture.

Key responsibilities:

• Own the strategic direction and roadmap for the internal access management program, driving maturity towards least-privilege outcomes
• Lead the enforcement of service-to-service authentication and formalize non-human identity service accounts within a governed program
• Manage access metrics, reporting, and governance cadence, articulating risk posture and progress to senior leadership

Required qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in security program management or identity & access management, with at least 3 years managing an enterprise-scale access program
• Deep expertise in identity and access management concepts, including least privilege and access review processes
• Strong knowledge of machine and workload identity concepts and cloud infrastructure security controls
• Experience integrating access processes into GRC platforms and a focus on automating access decisions
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence across teams and present complex concepts to executives
