Security Site Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Security Site Reliability Engineer will build, maintain, and ensure the availability of Elasticsearch and security application stacks while collaborating with various teams and providing 24/7 on-call support during emergencies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, deployment, patching, and maintenance of Elasticsearch and automation infrastructure
• Provide subject matter expertise on Elasticsearch, big data, analytics, and supporting application stacks
• Implement and support CI/CD pipelines to ensure a secure software development lifecycle (SDLC)

Required qualifications

• Strong understanding of Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, and the Beats stack
• Experience with Python, BASH, and other programming/scripting languages
• Experience with Cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Experience with containerized applications and supporting infrastructure (K8s, Docker, etc.)
• Experience with Linux administration (Debian, Ubuntu, RedHat)
