Security Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Security Software Engineer II for their Security Operations team.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and improve security tooling, automations, and services for Security Operations
• Write production-ready code and improve security workflows including access controls and service hardening
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to identify security gaps and troubleshoot production issues

Required Qualifications

• Experience in cloud, security, and/or software engineering, particularly with production services
• Proficiency in cloud infrastructure and infrastructure-as-code, especially with AWS and Terraform
• Experience in operational security, platform security, or security engineering work
• Demonstrated ability to use AI to enhance engineering work quality and speed
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
