Security Software Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance security measures, the full-time Security Software Engineer will build alerts and automation workflows, manage logging infrastructure, and respond to security incidents while working remotely with occasional in-office collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Build alerts and automation workflows to detect and respond to security threats
• Manage logging pipelines and onboard new sources to improve detection coverage
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and hunt for previously undetected threats

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Strong knowledge of intrusion detection and incident response in a cloud environment
• Hands-on experience with SIEM queries for alerting and threat hunting
• Experience with threat intelligence and using multiple telemetry sources for investigations
• Proficiency in scripting or automation (e.g., Python, Go, Ruby) for tool development
