Security Software Engineer II

Job Summary

Collaborating closely with engineers, the full-time salaried Security Software Engineer II will design and implement innovative security solutions to protect systems and data, while working remotely with occasional in-office collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Develop scripts, tools, and automated pipelines to streamline vulnerability scanning and incident triage processes
• Design, develop, and maintain software systems with integrated security best practices throughout the development lifecycle
• Partner with security engineers and IT to enhance threat detection and remediation across infrastructure and applications

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Experience with Linux/UNIX, macOS, or Windows internals, emphasizing proactive hardening
• Proven ability to leverage AI to improve workflow efficiency and quality
• Strong track record of critical evaluation and verification of AI-assisted work
• High integrity and ownership in protecting sensitive data and accountability for deliverables
