Security Solutions Architect

Job Summary

Leading the architectural design of secure and scalable enterprise platforms, the full-time salaried Security Solutions Architect will define security architecture principles, provide architectural guidance for new initiatives, and evaluate proposed architectures for systemic risks, with the option to work remotely or from Lake Forest, IL, or Charlotte, NC.

Key responsibilities

• Define security architecture principles and design patterns for enterprise systems and applications
• Provide architectural review and guidance for new initiatives and technology selections
• Collaborate with IT, risk, and compliance teams to enhance detection and response maturity

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise technology roles with a focus on security architecture
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology, Business, or a related field
• Experience with security frameworks such as NIST CSF, CIS Controls, and ISO 27001
• 3+ years of experience designing solutions in public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience defining zero trust architectures and guiding their adoption across platforms
