Security Specialist II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Security Specialist II to support a range of security activities within its Information Security Office and Security Operations Center.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate security response and perform vulnerability scans and penetration tests
• Monitor network and infrastructure for emerging cybersecurity threats and respond to incidents
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of internal security systems and tools

Required Qualifications

• Fundamental understanding of information security systems and functions
• Three to five years of experience in an information technology position
• Proficiency in using MS Office Suite and Windows-based computer applications
• Certification such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or similar preferred
• Associates degree in security or related field preferred
