Job Summary
To enhance the security posture of policyholders, the full-time remote Security Support Specialist will provide expert analysis and guidance on security tools, assist in risk assessments, and support technical stakeholders in understanding complex security concepts.
Key responsibilities
- Independently assess and analyze the security posture of insureds, providing tailored recommendations and enhancements
- Deliver technical support for security products and serve as a Subject Matter Expert, guiding users on product capabilities
- Lead team initiatives and projects, creating documentation and knowledge bases to ensure consistency and quality across the team
Required qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in security analysis, engineering, incident response, or related fields, preferably in mid-market and large enterprise environments
- Strong understanding of network threats, attack vectors, and methods of exploitation
- Proven ability to assess and quantify security risks and translate technical risks into business terms
- Experience advising technical stakeholders and tailoring security recommendations to their specific environments
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
