Security System Designer I

Job Summary

As a full-time remote Security System Designer I, the candidate will manage quality assurance and quality control of design packages, support engineers and system designers, and develop skills in physical security design through collaborative project work.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate client project drawings for accuracy and adherence to quality control checklists
• Learn and develop drafting/modeling skills for security floor layouts and system drawings under supervision
• Collaborate with team members on projects from design to closeout, assisting in document preparation and assembly

Required qualifications

• 1+ years of Revit experience in a professional environment, preferably in security, electrical, or telecom fields
• Associate degree or Autodesk Certified Professional in Revit for Electrical Design, or relevant work experience
• Knowledge of electronic security systems and vendor-specific technologies is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Bluebeam, Navisworks, and Dynamo is preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment with a designated workspace and high-speed internet access
