Security Systems Design Engineer

Job Summary

Creating innovative design solutions for commercial security systems, the full-time remote Security Systems Design Engineer will focus on designing access control and CCTV systems, preparing submittals, and ensuring project specifications meet customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Design security access control and CCTV systems, including detailed drawings and specifications
• Prepare product orders and participate in sales-to-operations turnover meetings to verify project accuracy
• Conduct general electrical calculations and provide documentation for project commissioning and validation

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 3+ years of relevant security system design experience
• Knowledge of security access control and CCTV system components
• Ability to read and interpret electrical circuit diagrams
• 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship
