Security Systems Engineer - ITAR

Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled Security Systems Engineer - ITAR for a full-time position, responsible for deploying and maintaining secure environments for sensitive data compliance under U.S. regulations, while collaborating with cross-functional teams and automating system functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with internal stakeholders to deploy and support highly secure system environments
• Lead efforts to maintain and improve secure chambers to meet industry security standards
• Provide expert guidance on ITAR, CUI, and EAR compliance to ensure adherence to necessary standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 8+ years of IT experience managing information security and complex network appliances
• Experience with Linux/Windows administration and scripting languages (e.g., Shell scripts, Python)
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies like VMware and Proxmox
• Extensive experience in cybersecurity focused on maintaining secure environments compliant with CMMC standards
