Job Summary

Leading the university's Threat and Vulnerability Program, the full-time remote Security Threat Program Manager will manage advanced information security systems, conduct risk analysis, and provide strategic oversight for vulnerability management and cyber threat intelligence.

Key responsibilities
  • Monitor and report on technical security threats to the university network regularly
  • Develop predictive analytics strategies and risk-based security intelligence products
  • Coordinate vulnerability scanning and translate findings into actionable mitigation tasks
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in a technical field (e.g., Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology)
  • 5 to 10 years of relevant professional work experience in information security may substitute for a formal degree
  • Demonstrated experience as a Threat Analyst or Vulnerability Management professional
  • Proficiency in scripting or programming languages, such as Python
  • Strong knowledge of threat centralization tools and modern detection techniques
