Security Vice President

Job Summary

Leading the information security program, the full-time remote VP of Security will drive enterprise security strategy, oversee security architecture and operations, and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the enterprise security strategy, roadmap, and KPIs in collaboration with the CCO and Fractional CISO
• Oversee the development and management of security capabilities, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and risk levels
• Provide security oversight across the software development lifecycle and ensure effective security operations, including incident response and vulnerability management

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in information security, preferably in a SaaS or medical company
• Extensive knowledge of network and cloud infrastructure security best practices
• Experience with security governance and risk management, including HIPAA and FDA regulations
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity risks and modern risk management methods
• Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CFE preferred
