Self-Pay Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Self Pay Representative to manage patient accounts and secure payments on outstanding balances.

Key Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to patients regarding outstanding balances and payment options
• Educate patients on their insurance responsibilities and financial assistance options
• Document account information accurately in the EMR system

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Passing score and certificate from an approved language testing vendor
• Prior experience in collections, customer service, or call center is preferred
• Knowledge of general medical billing and insurance is preferred
