Job Summary
A company is looking for a Self Pay Specialist to manage patient accounts and billing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate patient statements and manage outstanding balances through various communication methods
- Research patient financial responsibilities and document all patient interactions in the software system
- Monitor and resolve Self Pay Accounts Receivable, ensuring timely follow-up and processing of payments
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED certification
- Healthcare billing experience required
- Knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, ICD-9/10 codes is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and understanding of billing software systems
- Experience in healthcare patient collections or customer service preferred
