Job Summary

A company is looking for a Self Pay Specialist to manage patient accounts and billing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate patient statements and manage outstanding balances through various communication methods
  • Research patient financial responsibilities and document all patient interactions in the software system
  • Monitor and resolve Self Pay Accounts Receivable, ensuring timely follow-up and processing of payments
Required Qualifications
  • High school graduate or GED certification
  • Healthcare billing experience required
  • Knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, ICD-9/10 codes is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and understanding of billing software systems
  • Experience in healthcare patient collections or customer service preferred
