Semantic Data Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Semantic Data and AI Engineer will design and deploy data discovery, integration, and governance solutions while collaborating with clients to transform diverse data types into AI-ready assets.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with data experts and business users to model their domain knowledge effectively
• Apply NLP techniques to convert raw data into AI-ready assets and design end-to-end RAG workflows
• Analyze complex datasets and communicate insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in math, statistics, economics, data science, computer science, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in data analysis projects, including designing reports and visualizations
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis and modeling
• Experience with NLP methods applied to unstructured data in a production setting
• Hands-on experience building and optimizing RAG pipelines and familiarity with evaluation metrics
