Semiconductor Applications Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing Vertical Markets team, the remote Semiconductor Applications Engineer will identify industry problems, document data and visualizations, and build analytical applications to enhance problem-solving workflows for semiconductor manufacturing clients.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and document industry-specific problems that can be addressed with visual data science
• Build analytical applications to streamline workflows and enhance problem-solving efficiency
• Present solutions and their business value at industry events while creating collateral to support sales efforts

Required qualifications

• BS or greater degree in engineering or science related to the semiconductor industry
• 5 years of experience as an analytics practitioner in semiconductor manufacturing
• Demonstrable skills in data management, analysis, and storytelling
• Experience with statistical modeling tools such as Python/R, SAS JMP, or Minitab
• Conversational fluency in industry data challenges and the associated business value
