Senior Abstractor Cardiogenic Shock

Job Summary

Utilizing specialty databases to abstract patient data from electronic medical records, the full-time Senior Abstractor Cardiogenic Shock will perform primary data abstraction duties for clinical measures and registries while ensuring high levels of accuracy in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Abstract patient data for clinical measures and registries, maintaining alignment with quality standards
• Identify and communicate trends in clinical data to leadership
• Ensure high levels of abstraction accuracy in accordance with organizational guidelines

Required qualifications

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience, OR Associate's/Bachelor's degree, OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience
• At least 2 years of cardiovascular registry experience
• At least 5 years of clinical cardiovascular experience (e.g., Cath Lab, CV Tech)
• Experience working with Epic, Meditech, and/or Cerner
