Senior Academic Designer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Academic Designer to develop instructional materials for K-5 Science products.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan three-dimensional classroom investigations aligned to the Next Generation Science Standards
• Assist in the development of instructional materials in print and digital formats
• Analyze academic research to inform product recommendations and approaches

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Life, Earth, or Physical Science
• 5+ years of experience in educational publishing or significant editorial experience
• Experience in digital curriculum development and educational products
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
• Experience with Jira for managing sprint backlogs is desired but not required
