Senior Academic Designer

Job Summary

To support the development of innovative educational solutions, the remote Senior Academic Designer will plan and develop high-quality content for teacher and student materials while collaborating with cross-functional teams and mentoring junior designers.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and develop content, including learning objectives and resources, for various educational materials
• Train and mentor junior Academic Designers on content development and project documentation
• Coordinate with Project Managers and other teams to establish workflows and maintain communication regarding project status

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in elementary education, literacy, linguistics, or related field with 4+ years of experience in literacy curriculum development
• Teaching experience preferred, with the ability to create content for diverse delivery formats
• Strong organizational and collaborative skills, with proven leadership abilities
• Knowledge of academic standards and content development practices
• Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and digital authoring systems
