Senior Accessibility Expert
Job Summary
Serving as a senior strategic and technical authority, the full-time Senior Accessibility Subject Matter Expert will support federal clients by ensuring Section 508 compliance, conducting high-level testing of web content and electronic documents, and advising on accessibility risks throughout the System Development Lifecycle in a fully remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Perform high-level Section 508 testing and quality control reviews of web content and electronic documents
- Guide ICT project and acquisition efforts by evaluating Accessibility Conformance Reports (ACRs) and Voluntary Product Accessibility Templates (VPATs)
- Provide end-to-end document remediation and serve as an operational back-up to the Government Section 508 Program
Required qualifications
- Active DHS Trusted Tester Version 5.0 (or later) Certification required
- Active IAAP Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC) Certification required
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- 7+ years of experience in Information and Communications Technology (ICT) environments
- 2+ years of experience testing and remediating electronic documents and forms to Section 508 standards
